What Does 320 Get You? (Destiny)
Being 320 does help a little bit for Oryx, but it's not a big difference. A 320 light level guardian using a 1000 Yard Stare sniper still can't one-shot-kill a Light Eater Knight (Black Spindle can).
Mostly I think hitting 320 just gives the satisfaction of reaching max light level. Once you hit 320, any additional 320 drops can be used to refine your armor and weapon load out to match your preferences.
