Is it just self-reported by the Redditors? I'd see that as a bigger potential issue than the sample size.
Agreed. The whole thing is dependent on the reddit crowd reporting/recording their results accurately, which is a big "if". Definitely should be taken with a big grain of salt.
Not even that - it's a self-selected group that's reporting, not a random sample. They can all report THEIR results accurately, and it's possible that the end result won't be representative of the population as a whole.
