Did we ever figure out what the triangular ships were (Destiny)

From the concept art?

Looking at the festival of the lost SIVA mask reminded me of the big triangle ships from the concept art so long ago. Was there ever a solid theory on what they were? Because the siva geometry sure feels related to them.
