Is the Trials competition really so weak on Xbone... (Destiny)

I actually deleted Destiny off my hard drive, so I won't be jumping back in any time soon :-/
I did that a few weeks ago, too. It was a little sad, despite having not played the game in nearly a year.
It's just become increasingly clear to me that Bungie has no intention of making the kind of game that I wish Destiny had become. And that's fine. They're doing their thing, and I'm sure lots of people will enjoy it.
Rise of Iron was a big blow to my relationship with the game, and festival of Lost was the nail in the coffin. I'll miss the few parts of the game I enjoy, and I really miss playing with the DBO crew on a regular basis, but it just isn't worth spending countless hours jumping through hoops that frustrate me :-/
