I would love to join in on one of these. I heard there was one down in Portland one year, but no one knows me so I wasn't invited :P

I very much miss good old Halo LAN parties!

Heh, there was an incredibly impromptu one that happened at my place a year or so ago (it was came together a day or two before the actual occurrence). It was nothing like this. We had a friend (Up North) coming through town and decided to invite some other PDX locals and Claude since we knew him. Then we bought beer and it kind of looked like we planned it. If we ever decide to do the real thing, we'll put out invitations and stuff...

This does make me want to do that again though.
