maybe since they cut Nathan Fillian out of the budget, they can now afford voice actors for the guardians
It's Matthew Mercer playing "Guardian: Human Male".
You may know him better as McRee the cowboy in Overwatch (fitting).
The rest of the player cast (all reprising their D1 roles) is:
Cree Summer- Exo Female
Crispin Freeman- Awoken Male
Susan Eisenberg- Human Female
Grey Griffin- Awoken Female
Peter Jessop- Exo Male
Half of the D1 cast went on to work in Overwatch and/or other Blizzard games. Coincidence?
