We even unlocked the extra chest for not allowing the Templar to teleport, and I didn't get anything except shards and energy...

My group was able to get that chest to spawn last night, but had to wait a bit for a 6th teammate who went too far down toward the Gorgons' Lair and had to return to orbit to start at the top and make his way back down to us again. When he made it back down, we all turned around and saw that the chest had despawned without anyone opening it :(
