I would love to see some of the marathon weapons return.

How about a modified fusion file that behaves more like this? http://marathongame.wikia.com/wiki/Zeus_Class_Fusion_Pistol Weaker immediate firing, but you can hold a charge (for a short period before blowing up) and release it for damage similar to current fusion rifles. Perhaps if you get hit while holding a charge it discharges in your face.

I'd love to see something like the Pfhor staff, upgraded it throws void energy balls.
