I can't figure out why you would use No Land Beyond without also having a sniper rifle as a backup. Seems like the only valid use-case for that weapon. Even better if you can get a sniper rifle that lets you shoot ammo to pick it up.

I thought it was to bring Shotty Snipes game type back from Halo...
