Works for both subclasses:

Hermes' Striders:
The messenger comes bearing terrible news.

  • Serpent's Tail: Causing damage with a melee reduces your grenade cooldown.
  • Heavy Weapon Ammo: Increases the amount of Heavy Weapon ammunition you can carry.
  • For There You Have Been: Glide speed is faster, and lasts longer.


-Fixes a complaint that many people have regarding the Warlock's jump (too slow).
-Provides you with the ability to be more dangerous in the air (extra speed and duration means you jump higher), adding a much-needed verticality to the game, and your Nova Bombs can be aimed a bit more easily.
-Combined with the rarely-used Angel of Light ability (Allows Warlocks to hover in the air when aiming their weapon), you can snipe with a much better vantage point.
-Jumping much higher and faster can get you out of reach of Blade Dancers, Fist of Havoc, and the shotgun crowd.
-The melee->Grenade perk is there because I love raining death down on enemies, and Gift of the Sun (extra grenade) also benefits from it.
-And the heavy ammo perk is there so you can bombard your enemies more...

They also change the animations so you actually hover. That is an exotic.
