The guardian in the foreground, bottom left, appears to have some sort of blade attached to his weapon, splattered in purple liquid. If it is indeed a blade, it seems impractical for stabbing (due to the overlap with the end of the muzzle) and also impractical for slashing (due to is comparatively short length).
...it's an electric turkey slicer.
But I'm more worried about the fact that the gun is powered by jumper cables...
