I can finally use the sword! (Destiny)

You can take Crota down in 2 rounds with the sword as a level 31... a 32 would destroy him even faster :)

You can take down Crota on hard in two swords too. Hoping to do that tonight :-p

I'm actually wondering how a 31 Hunter would fare against Hard Mode Crota using this technique. I'm sure it would take more than 2 Sword rounds... maybe 3?

I've had decent luck getting my 31 Titan through the hard mode raid. Might try my Hunter at some point too. Taking the sword during the final battle might actually be the best use of my Hunter.

I meant you can get him in two swords as a 32 on hard.
