How not to Crota (Destiny)

Getting greedy is a great way to fail at Crota. You know, patience is a virtue and all that. I had my rockets out to help kill the Swordbearer, the Swordbearer dropped, and I ran for the sword. Crota went down, I hit him four times, he stood up, and then he ran. I told my crew to shoot him anyway because I knew I could chase him down in time. Crota was going down! I mean, I figured I'd at least get a single hit in on Crota before the sword disappeared. And then this happened, as seen from Unreal's recorded point of view:

I pulled the trigger and... oops! I'm so glad Unreal was able to record this, because the rest of us, especially me, were too busy cracking up uncontrollably at the stupid thing I had just done.
