Someone trying to claim Quake had rocket jumping before Marathon, HA!

On a random note, some people are bizarrely sensitive to the issue of which games had grenade jumping first. I actually had a discussion on GAF once where someone, even knowing about older games like Marathon, was arguing that Quake was first because its engine could handle general 3D environments. Not "the first to allow X sorts of trick complexity" or some such business; the user was arguing that grenade jumping in games like Marathon literally wasn't grenade jumping because of things like the bridges-and-balconies issue.

That's one of the most nonsensical things I've heard, haha. I may be a Bungie fanboy, but that's just obsessive.
