That is definitely fair to say. And I may have to remember to use that the next time someone asks me why I like puppets!

Reminds me of the test footage for The Thing (2011) where they used practical effects, but some producer thought it would be a great idea to just replace it all with CG instead of using CG to enhance the practicals. So. Much. Lost. Potential.
