Mostly just a recap of what happened (and was reported) yesterday...
But here it is...
I'm surprised.
I expected to see it last week. When it wasn't there, I expected to see it this week. So.
On April the 7th Bungie mentioned the "Men in Kilts and Gauntlet Fundraisers". Said fundraisers ended at least a week ago.
The Results: Bungie raised $2,840.00 for the Ronald McDonald House Charities of Western Washington, and a staggering $26,897.00 for the "Gauntlet Tabletop Tournament" (both of such were mentioned here at DBO), which will allow "448 Nights of safety and stability for a young person (age 18-24) at YouthCare's Young Adult Shelter- Providing an opportunity to engage with caring staff, and begin addressing unique needs."
I don't know about anyone else here, but I thought it was pretty cool and was worth a shout out. So yeah. That. :D
