Though I generally don't suggest it as an offensive option, as it kinda wiggles in the air in flight, it's probably one of the most entertaining things for me in this game. Up there with laser goosing as Ion.

This game really looks like fun. I've heard good things about the campaign, might pick it up if it goes on sale someday.

I think you'd enjoy it. You'd certainly get a good taste for what makes it so great (especially the last 3-4 levels of SP).

The whole campaign is a very effective tool to teach you about the game. The first few levels as "boring" have some really neat sequences as well as being a very nice, gradual introduction to the core mechanics. You gotta go slow to learn how to go fast. The subsequent introduction into the multiplayer started with me being garbage until it clicked that you gotta go fast. When I ask the friend I play with if he wants to play the inquiry is "you wanna Go Fast?"

The unfortunate consequence though is that once you understand how to go fast in titanfall those levels become boring because you are basically required to walk long distances. I wish they had modified the geometry a bit to allow you to proceed through areas without walking so much.
Just needs little slide-hopping and creativity

Though, I do need to go back through and replay the whole campaign. Last time I played it I was not nearly as practiced at movement as I have become. Even if I still don't think I'm that good.

And lastly, If Scorch was meant to run away from encounters against multiple Titans, they would have made him faster.
