This Friday is Customs Night. You don't know about Customs Night? You'd better ask somebody... or just keep reading. Customs Night is a weekly get-together that is put together by Community Customs where we play custom and standard gametypes on custom maps (and occasionally a standard map or two). It starts at 9:00 PM EST and continues until everyone or nearly everyone doesn't want to play any more. We play with maps and gametypes ranging from open to confined, simple to complicated, new to old, and competitive to silly, and this week we'll be playing in Halo: Reach. If this sounds like fun, you can sign up by simply replying to this post with your gamertag. If you do, you'll get a message when we're getting started inviting you join us.

Things to keep in mind:

- we pretty much play whatever the people present want to play
- we don't run modded content
- one of us (the people that run it, Gnrl Vagueness, ShadowoftheVoid, iHyokin) will have party lead for as long as we play customs
- if you have something you want to play that we don't already have you'll have to have it in your file share or point us to someone that has it in their file share
- we try to keep things varied as far as gametypes and what kind of maps we run as well as running things by different people (so if you have a bunch of stuff that you made or that one person made, it might not all get played right in a row)
- we value and enjoy communication, and it's very important to being able to run this, so please, talk, but don't talk over people
- suggested supplies: a map, a snack, a joke, a friend
- that time again is 9:00 PM EST and the game is Halo: Reach-- I hope we see you then!

Customs Night (destination edition [Halo: Reach])

I seem to have hit a snag. Earlier my 360 did this thing where it freezes up, only the guide responds, and trying to go to the dashboard makes it completely freeze, even turning it off takes like 20 seconds to take effect. I thought it was just apps, but now it's doing it with Reach. Earlier I unplugged it and waited and plugged it back in and it stopped happening (and then it happened again but I unplugged it again and then it didn't happen until now), but I just tried that and it still didn't load up the game, and it took a minute to turn off even without freezing up completely. Nothing happened to it lately. So we can get started when I can my console to work or ShadowoftheVoid and/or iHyokin get on. (Reach has been acting up lately, but only in having trouble loading things; I suspect the case I got it in, you have to bend the disk slightly to remove it; I put it in a different case, but foolishly not until after it had problems.)
