where do I get Rocket boots ? Have not seen any which increase any kind of heavy ammo….

Are you a titan? I think Shaxx has a pair. It doesn't say it when you hover over the boots. You have to inspect them and look at the bottom ammo perk node.

I was going to say this, too, because it took me a bit to realize it as well.
I have a pair that can increase Sniper ammo or Rocket ammo, but the Sniper Ammo node is on top, so that's the one that appeared in the tool tips. This changes once you level the gear up and select the perks you want, but by default it just shows whichever is on top.

I have a random legendary with more heavy machine gun ammo.
