Hello there i am a guardian protector of the last city on earth. or so i was. this is the story of how the last city on earth was destroyed. as i started to fly into the city a saw a faint light on the edge of the walls. as i am a guardian (at the time) i fly to the light source. as i get closer the light starts to get brighter and larger. Once i land i see a large crashed ship and the source of the light was a beacon on the ship. i go to deactivate the beacon when a door flies open with a thud. i jump back and get my super ready (i am using my warlock nova bomb ability at the time) and start to aim it at the ship. then a turret pops out and starts firing. i have to jump behind cover as 3 cabal soldiers climb out. I said to myself \u201cWhat are cabal doing here? they’ve never been here before!\u201d. As they get out they immediately pull out a beacon and shoot it upwards. then i look up to see a massive cabal ship coming in from the sky. I yell at the top of my lungs \u201cOH $#*%\u201d. i jump in my ship and fly to the tower in the city. <\/span><\/p>\n

all the other guardians are starting to get into ships and are flying to the cabal ship. i get out and run to the speaker. as i get there the speaker says \u201cThe prophecy was true a cabal ship would come the the city and destroy it\u201d. i said \u201cSpeaker you’re going to be wrong we’re going to destroy this ship\u201d. He says \u201cyoung guardian this will be the truth the cabal in this many numbers is unstobale to many of our troops are on the dreadnought\u201d. i say \u201cwe will call them back and we will destroy this ship\u201d. He then says \u201cit’s too late for the dreadnought is destroyed the cabal blew it up from the inside and all those guardians are dead\u201d. I then say \u201chow do you know this? are you a traitor!\u201d. he responds with a \u201cno i am not a traitor i am only listening to the traveler telling me the future.\u201d. as he says that a guardian comes running in yelling \u201cTHE DREADNAUGHT IS DESTROYED ALL THE GUARDIANS ARE DEAD!\u201d. i stand still stunned at what he just said. the speaker says \u201cthe traveler knows the future the city is doomed since we built it.\u201d.<\/span><\/p>\n

i start running to my ship but before i get there a huge cannon blast hits the city destroying a ton of homes and shops. I stand in awe of what just happened . but before i start running again a cannon fires at the tower. it hurtles toward the speaker’s side and then explodes. it knocks half of the tower down with the explosion. i start to run to my ship again and hop in. i start the engine when another cannon fires at the middle of the tower. the structural weakness point. It explodes falling down into the side i’m in which is the ship yard. my ship starts as the building starts to fall. i fly out just in time before the whole building collapse destroying anything below it. as i fly away i look back seeing hundreds of houses on fire and the rubble of the tower bellowing with smoke. i start to fly towards the cabal ship when the ships aa guns kick in. they start firing at me and i start to try and dodge them. one hits my wing and another hits my engine. is start to hurtle to the ground when i eject from my ship and teleport to the ground. when i hit the ground tons of guardians and civilians are dead. among them was the greatest guardian of them all he was (insert your guardian name of gamertag here). he had defeated the black garden. slain atheon. killed crota and oryx. he was the greatest guardian there was but without his teammates he was nothing. <\/span><\/p>\n

i looked all around and saw no one. i then spotted cabal coming my way. i pop my super instantly obliterating those cabal. i then preceded to start to run. i ran to the wall of the city. as i entered the wall of the city i see tons of fallen coming my way. they must have seen the destruction and are probably going to attack the city to. i look to my left and see a jump ship which i then proceed to jump into and fly away. that\u2019s how the city’s story ended and my story begins.<\/span><\/p>\n

as i fly away i try to contact any surviving guardians and none pick up. i expect that im am the last guardian. i then fly into the atmosphere and jump to venus. i think some guardians were there during the attack. as i land a pick up a comm channel. a voice says \u201cthis is alpha one niner i am being over run by vex i need backup!\u201d i try to respond but the signal dies. i jump on my sparrow and start to drive over to the signal. when i get there i see a guardian lying on the floor looking dead. as i get closer the warlock pops himself res super and starts to choke. i come closer to him and say \u201care you okay?\u201d. he responds with \u201ci\u2019m ok at least i’m not dead\u201d. \u201cwhy did no one respond to the call at the tower?\u201dthe guardian says. i respond saying \u201cthe cabal attacked earth destroying everything\u201d.as the guardian hears this he stands still shocked. he says \u201ceveryone is dead?\u201d \u201cyes everyone is dead\u201d i respond. he still stands still as if someone had just shot him in the heart. when out of the blue a gunshot rings out hitting him in the head instantly killing him. his ghost was not there like everyone else on earth there ghosts were destroyed he was actually dead. I turn around trying to locate the shot then i found the hobgoblin that killed him. i sniped his head off.<\/span><\/p>\n
