Breath filled her lungs, her eyes snapped open, and her heart began to beat.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201cGaurdian!\u201d said a strange voice. Ayra\u2019s eyes slowly adjusted to the bright light shining in her eyes. \u201cWho are you?\u201d she cautiously inquired?<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201cA Ghost!\u201d the little floating machine responded. \u201cActually, I\u2019m your Ghost.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201cWhere are we?\u201d Arya\u2019s head was spinning. She looked past Ghost and saw a sea of stars. Ghost followed her gaze. \u201cIt\u2019s been so long, I\u2019m not completely certain where we are\u2026 somewhere past Mars, probably near the Reef.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">It was then Ayra realized she was floating. She turned away from the large glass window; they were in a cryo-bay. She floated back to the only open pod. It\u2019s label bore the name: Arya Rey. The un-opened pods on the left and right had the names: Samantha Rey and Emma Rey. She looked closer, their faces peaceful, but lifeless.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201cMy sisters, can you&#8230;\u201d She looked at Ghost with hopeful eyes.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201cNo, I\u2019m sorry.\u201d Ghost said with a somber tone. \u201cThe Light chose you.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201cChose me&#8230; for what?\u201d Arya turned away from her sister\u2019s caskets to face Ghost.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201cTo be the spark that ignites the Light. To drive back the Darkness.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201cHow?\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201cWell, first we need to find a ship. Come on, I\u2019m sure you have more questions. I\u2019ll fill you in on the way.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p><em><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">And so into the darkness went Light, and the darkness could not overcome it.<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>From the darkness came Light.
