I did get on, and got three bounties in two games, which was more than enough to get me to level 5. I don't know if I've gotten better or what, but this was the least grindy Iron Banner for me. (It was my first since the Taken King dropped.)

I also won more than I lost, and consistently placed in the top third on my team. I credit new players for that.

I did not buy an Iron Banner cloak for my hunter the first time it came around. I got my hunter to level 5 this time and the last time, but never got a cloak to drop. I even played extra games after hitting level 5 this time, but still no cloak. Why are they not selling class items?

...so that you'll have to play Iron Banner again next time?

I have taken a break from Destiny as of late, kind of burnt out on it. I do trials on the weekends about once thats about it. ANYWAY, I have been playing Star Wars: The Old Republic on PC lately, and yesterday I was living it up, at the end of an area about to beat the boss, then I got disconnected. Could NOT log back in. Then the reddit blew up, about how it was down for everyone and nothing was being said by EA. Reluctantly, I picked up my PS4 controller to get my star wars fix with Battlefront. PSN DOWN!!!!! ARGH!!!!! I was too irritated I just started cleaning, didn't even bother with my Xbox. It was an eventful evening. Also when the servers did come up, I lost all of my progress, had to do it over...

Yeah, I am literally one game away from hitting rank five. :-/

This isn't planned maintenances either - there is something wonky going on that PlayStation is looking into. I am still holding out hope that it gets resolved in the next hour or so, but since this has apparently been going on for about 9 hours already, I'm not too optimistic.

EDIT: Nevermind! It appears that as soon as I hit submit on my post, everything came back online!
