We were moving the past couple of weeks, and somehow survived most of it without any internet. Because of that, I barely got to play IB, but did get to play the last two nights that it was up.

The first game with my hunter was short. but rewarding. Apparently some teams don't accept losing the lead...

Wow. This is amazing- the game basically just started!

I also had a Claude moment, which made me giggle.

Not sure I'd call that a 'Claude moment' - I'd have missed the second and third shots, almost certainly - but it was beautiful, nonetheless.

And while playing with Otter and Speed, we came across a guy who liked to teabag after every kill, so I decided to hunt him down and return the favor. He didn't appreciate that, and he let me know it throughout the game... Huehuehue...

Wish I was skilled enough to get the Scarab emblem...

How was he able to keep playing while recording all those clips?

I was running the Golgy challenge with some folks, but we ran into a bit of trouble with the Warpriest when half the team died before the final round. The last three of us had to deal with the Taken, light the platforms, and take on the Warpriest. No sweat!

Beardfade filled in for you during "Storytime For N00bs" and did a stand up job.

First King's Fall completion, first IB achieving something above rank 2; all in all it was a good week in the Destiny universe for me.

Those were great! I doubt many people have ever gotten a double "and stay down" - that was super impressive.

heh - it helped that those guys were 1) pretty dumb, and 2) were getting double-shot with a pair of Hallowed Quillim's Terminuses. (Termini?) That was me right in front of him; I was surprised I didn't get either one of them. (To be fair, I got the first pair, when they went down in the first place.)

But yeah, I've never gotten (or even seen) a double one of those before. :)

As for the guy surviving the grenade, I'd guess lag. When the grenade went off at the position you thought was his face, his system probably thought he was a few feet away so he took less than full damage. Bad netcode is bad, man. I can't say it enough.

yeah, i was in that game. the lag was horrible. people that i had sniped in the head died SECONDS after i had died (and i didn't get a post mortem, b/c they had died Before i died).

Same with rockets, they would die while i was reloading.

I've got a similar gameplay vid. The lag was so bad you can see a rocket fly to a location and then it sticks out of the ground for a second or so before the explosion, like it's been paused or something. I'll try to get it up soon because it was so weird. The lag in Destiny is incredibly poorly managed by the netcode, and done so in an unfair way that benefits the laggers. Grrr.

Last night, i got this sniper from a rank 5 package. It has a stability or accuracy buff on every single tree. 1st is the Ambush and long view scopes, 2nd is Eye of the Storm (increased accuracy as your health lowers), 3rd is hand-laid stock, and 4th is Unflinching.

Next is the best game i think i've ever had. 27 kills, 5.4 k/d. I was able to record the last 5 minutes of it, i wish the XBOX DVR would record longer segments.

Here was an "Oh SH-" moment last night. I raced to A at the start, and wasn't paying attention to the icon as i rushed past the heavy ammo area. When i rounded the corner, there were 5 opponents on the territory. I quickly threw a grenade and began frantically shooting, and managed to kill all 5.
