So I haven't done any court of oryx events since my hunter was under level 300. This week though I managed to get a good team and finally beat the Oryx challenge! I was so excited, he was the last major milestone and i wanted to see the shader for collecting the final Calcified fragment. We all went back to the tower, and that's when I found out I still needed one more piece! Thankfully, it was from Thalanok, but none of my friends had time to help kill him.

So I donned my Celestial Nighthawk and headed to the court alone. As a warm up I did some tier 1 and tier 2s, and man those guys got fragged hard.

With them out of the way two randoms showed up, and so I summoned Thalanok to reminisce about the many, many times I killed his hero Crota. It went about as well as he could expect, with the wizards and sword bearer down in less time then it takes to reload a hand cannon, and my two randoms easily plinking down Thalanok's shield so I could give him the full Crota experience. It was over so quick, we did it two more times so everyone could get credit.

It is impressive to see the difference being at 317 makes. The court is a breeze and I was amazed how I could almost one shot bosses with GG. I could have solo'ed Thalanok, which is a bit different from my early tries in the court where we were trying to get 6 people to take on the tier 3s.

It really is stupid easy. I mean, Vorlag has always been easy, but tier 3 is simple now. I have a lot of fun doing it.
