I've completed 15 successful Golgoroth Challenges to date (5 weeks x 3 characters). I've gotten nine pairs of 320 Boots, six pairs of 320 Gauntlets and zero 320 Chest pieces. Just one chest piece should have had a ~94% chance of happening by now, but f#ck Bungie.

You're assuming each piece is weighted equally in the loot table, yes?

I know the 1 loot per week is a weird thing, but it creates a nice loop and ritual of play. I really thought Errant signal nailed why that system works.

Something that permeates almost all of Destiny is the time-gating of rewards and content. I get why they do it, but I don't like having that control taken away from me as a player.

That's why I like the Three of Coins thing. Sure, you're capped at 310 drops, but it's another way to continue the influx of gear from just "Playing The Game".

There are tons of more permanent (and logical) solutions, but until Bungle gets their stuff together, we gotta take what we can...
