Oh, I thought it was three guaranteed per week (one for each character at the postmaster) then more for other activities.

Max is supposed to be 3 per account per week (reply)

One is supposed to be guaranteed from the Postmaster and the others drop from "end-game" activities (such as PoE and Weekly playlists [even Strikes]).

Guess you lucked out and got 4.

You were supposed to get one per account for free from the postmaster (this part is bugged, some people got more than one on different characters, or didn't get any, like me). Then per account again you get one for playing a match in a weekly Crucible playlist, and one for completing Level 41 PoE.

Yeah, I got one for Daily Crucible and one from PoE...nothing in the mail though. Didn't know that was bugged. Hopefully that's rectified soon.

When I first booted up after the update my warlock had a silver package already in the inventory even before I got to the the tower, then I got one for for doing the weekly crucible and one for POE.

Switching to my Hunter, he had a silver package waiting at the post office but did not get any more for any other activity.

Then my poor titan couldn't get any silver packages no matter what he did.

At least they each were able to get their own taken sword...
