Shoot the oracles from the cheese spot. Just don't die, or build up a lot of rockets before each section. You can get over 100.

As per umihotaru's post (https://www.reddit.com/r/DestinyTheGame/comments/4jql9g/clown_cartridge_glitch/) Seems there's a glitch whereby cocoon perk on raid weapons can make clown cartridge proc on equipped weapons. I tested using Silence of A'arn and Choleric Dragon which added a rocket to the clip about every 1 in 5 times I heard the cocoon noise. Potentially SGA for PVP, especially the heavy ammo rounds in Trials

Tried this last night, on The Dark Beyond. Equipped Defiance of Yasmin and a Clown Cartridge Tormod's Bellows, which started with no ammo.

Ran through the 'We're waking the Hive!' fight twice (65 enemies before I gave up), doing almost all of my killing with a scout rifle (firing sniper shots each time Cocoon proc'd, just to reset it to proc'ability). I had Clown Cartridge proc ONCE. In 10 minutes. (And maybe 30 sniper shots/30 Cocoon procs).

It works... but so slowly that it's sort of irrelevant.

It only works if the Weapon with CC is currently equipped. So, shoot Cocoon weapon, switch to CC weapon, wait for Cocoon to proc, repeat. I had 10 rockets within 2 minutes this way. As with all RNG, YMMV.
