As far as I can tell, your data just splits and now you have two copies of your characters. Anything you do on 360 from now on will stay on the 360 forever - you can't re-import your character ever again.

So if you want to finish up achievos on 360, it's best to not accept the agreement on the One just yet, finish up on 360, and THEN accept the import on the One.

A more appropriate metaphor, based on my understanding: There was 1 save file that was shared between both systems. Once you accept that prompt, the 360 version does a 'save as' and creates a new one. Now there are two files--one for each system--that won't affect each other from now on.

The 360 one also can't access some newer stuff.

I was 100% xbone from the beta on.

It says if you only played on the xbone to just accept it.

Before you accept this, they're both already identical in every way. From the point you accept it on, they branch out.

So, does this import remove the data from your 360 version, or is it just a copy and paste? I still sometimes play on the 360.

When you go back to play on the 360, what happens? I assume your character there is a snapshot of what you had at the moment you accepted the agreement. I wonder if I need to play destiny on the 360 to unlock my Taken King achievements there before I should accept the agreement on the One...

Which is to say the only time I have played Destiny on the 360 was during the beta. Details Details.

I am past the point of no return.

Pro tip: you have to hold the button to Accept the import. I pressed the button and wondered why nothing happened for 30 seconds. :)
