I will say that this is just one more step in our journey to defeating the "uncanny valley", we aren't there yet, but still a huge leap imo.

Imagine the possibilities of CG films made with real-time rendering. Heck, this could get something like a grittier Star Wars TV series off the ground, or could even allow a developer like Bungie to do something like episodic side-story DLC for Destiny akin to Spartan Ops...

Considering what Naughty Dog has shown with Uncharted 4, things that once seemed like cool tech gimmicks are now finding themselves implemented into the current generation's games. This is just taking the cinematic aspect of it to the next level.

Yeah, I saw this a little while back and it was stunning. There is so much more emotion and life in that face this almost anything I've seen. To be able to act and see what it looks like in real time is going to help a LOT to voice actors. At least I think it will... I'm not voice actor :D

I love technology. That shit is amazing.
