Maybe because I invited myself to Xenos' game at the very first or something… When I was leaving for the evening I exited out of our party but was still paired up with Xenos.

As someone on the blue team, I must say that you all did a great job. I absolutely wasn't expecting the game to go that way, and figured the ball would end up being guarded in a different room.

I think my favorite part was when we finally, finally killed everyone in that room, including the ball carrier, and Snipe was the only person left. And I was so sure I had him. He was hurting and done for. And he had a shotgun. Oops. Game over. :P

Yeah. I missed that part! You know, being one of the everyone in the room that died. I saw ball dropped and was expecting a long reverse of what we had done. I'll take a look at the replay (if I still have it) when I get home.

Well, I'm pretty sure that's me dying while guarding the oddball guy in the shotgun room. Seem appropriate given my community "leading" kill to death ratios. :/

Anyone out there still got that Borderlands 2 itch? I think I'll have some free time this weekend days and night.

Halo Reach.

Holy hell I'd forgotten how much more fun it is than Halo 4. I loved the slightly slower pace. The longer, more drawn out one on one battles. The seemingly more worthwhile certainly less silly (I'm looking at you Mantis) vehicles. The more classic not overly scifi filtered sounds. Invasion, which is just a ton of fun. And, I don't know, just the whole thing felt better and far less so-frenzied-it-doesn't-even-really-matter-what-I-do-ish. All that and the UI is less kludgy, more informative, and doesn't list everyone's gamer tags sideways.

Couldn't agree more :) I especially love the weapons in Reach. And on an unrelated note I am much better at objective modes than Slayer.

Me and Xenos started out by carrying a team with something like a 22 and 20 score in slayer. Then it was a great collection of DBOers rotating in and out. There were some great victories, some lol that was bad defeats, and some good midgame chats about gaming and Destiny.

Some of my other favorite parts:

- Tearing it up on multiteam Slayer on Countdown. Go green team!
- Our collective realization that DBO is a Community not a Clan. The difference? Clans win. (But they have to all dress the same)
- Winning most of our Invasion games, including skunking the other team once.
- Our mildly heroic attempted comeback on Blood Gulch. "Bring the tank forward, bring the Revenant forward, bring in everything! Let's spawn kill them!" It almost worked too!

AND
