Sorry for my contribution of clicks. I had not considered the server strain (I think I only added 10 or so to the count) and I would hate for my actions to put you in a bad spot.

Servers are better than they used to be - but they can still be abused. There was an incident in the early 2000s where folks decided to see if they could push a post count past 10,000 on the HBO forum - they managed to crash the server, and forced me to turn off post counts on that forum. Hmm... lemme see if I can find the post I wrote...

Okay. So it's unlikely you'd be able to generate enough traffic HERE to actually reproduce that problem... but I'd ask, in the nicest way, that you don't even try.
