Generally, any night other than Wednesday works for me, so I would probably vote for keeping it on Tuesdays.

As for game, I'm up for anything, especially Halo Reach, Halo 4 and Marathon.

Can we play Marathon 2 online via the XBLA version?

We can definitely play Marathon 2 online, but I am not sure if we can party up, I've never done it in Marathon 2.

You can in co-op. I don't think I ever saw enough opponents online to see it work in competitive.

I've played multiplayer, but like you said, the pool is small. It's usually been only two or three of us.

If we got as few as six folks playing though, I bet it would be a lot of fun. I'd probably have to take some dramamine. I'm only half-joking. Marathon on the big screen makes me dizzy.

If we can join friend's games in XBLA that's probably how we do it. It'll take a little more (though not exorbitant amount) effort to get the Mac/PC version going.

From looking around in game last night I think we might be able to host a game for others to join. Worst case scenario we try, it doesn't work, and we switch to a backup game.

For those on the fence about this game, the Miner Gun has a blaster mode that makes it the Fusion Pistol from Marathon, AND it can build rainbow fortresses.

Oh yeah, something about wall jumping and side dashing too, if you care about being a ninja and all that.

I checked off Black Ops 2, but I think a lot more HBO/DBO people own Modern Warfare 2 than any other CoD game.

Sounds like we need to appoint someone(s) to test it out!

If no one can I will try and test it out tonight after I get home around 7 MT. If anyone with Marathon 2 is around at the time let me know and we can test the party up system.
