First: Rebel Galaxy is an awesome game and you will love it. It's in the style of Escape Velocity or (to a slightly lesser degree) Star Control 2.

Second: GoG.com is a great website with hundreds (thousands?) of old games, updated to run on modern computers, and sold at absurdly low prices. I picked up the entire Avernum Saga (all 7 games, each 40+ hours long) for something like $5 last year.

So go buy a sweet new-to-you game and get Rebel Galaxy for free!
