In high school I was getting into film making. I saved my money and bought Final Cut Pro and a 60 GB hard drive. My school guidance counselor was shocked. "60GB?! Why did you get so much? There's no way you'll ever fill that up!"

I filled it up in 4 weeks.

It just takes up too much space, and all of my friends are jumping to D2, so there's not really any reason to play it again as far as I'm concerned. I did everything I wanted to do except use a fatebringer, but that's a pretty minor gripe. Like super minor. Why did I even mention it?

2TB drive. Even with many Halo's, Titanfall 1 and 2, Destiny, Forza, World of Tanks, Lara Croft and most of the free Gold games I still have more than 1TB remaining.

This will likely change with XB1X and 4K game assets. I don't think I'll need a bigger drive, though the least used games may get deleted.

It seems like Bungie is winding down events for D1. Am I misinterpreting?

I guess I assumed that as long as the servers were up, D1 would continue to run on automatic pilot for a good long while just as it has since the final update. I'm probably overstating how automatic it is.

Technically we in the land of Xbox, who don't also have a Ps4, will be getting access to new content in... October from the top of my head. After that, yea... Destiny is simply your time portal to how things were.

It feels fine. I'll be happily playing Destiny 2 with Destiny 1 deleted from my hard drive.

I can play a ton of "fully" featured games nowadays, but they don't have the population for it. Yeah it's one thing to be able to get A gametype to work in matchmaking, but nothing can bring back the heyday of Doubles Halo: Reach during the few years I played it.

So while I definitely think more should be done to archive the software so it can be catalogued in a museum, I still don't care about your point at all regardless of when you said it.

They confirmed this was the last Iron Banner and next weekend is the last Trials. I think everything else will continue to function on autopilot, like the 360 version does I guess.

But seriously, it's kind of shitty they can't set up an autopilot system for Iron banners every six weeks and trials every week.

My wish is that they undo most of the PvP balance patches before D2 comes out, but that wish ain't happening.
