90 minutes and <20 deaths is hella impressive for a first completion. (I assume this starts from a Crota checkpoint, but still).

Heh, we plugged away from the start, but we went to orbit a few times to try and clear up some lag errors. The full run was much longer. 3h 41m :-)

Oddly I still do better on my own because playing with you all probably gets me in a higher tier. My strategy is to try to stay near my teammmates as much as possible. Also, I want to marry Nameless Midnight.

I mostly play Crucible solo, which is, of course, a miserable experience (as we all know). Last night I went into Crucible with a second...and the competition felt like push overs. I'm not sure why the Matchmaking algo seems to like to assemble teams of randoms against teams of 4 for maximum pain and punishment, but going in with at least one teammate seems to balance things out a bit somehow...

Of course this is all anecdotal and there's likely no correlation/causation whatsoever.

I would agree that D2 is much more focused on teamwork and having a buddy that is even partially working with you helps a lot. Which is why teams of 4 just wreck.

Right now, a bunch of us normals are still playing, so we can dominate as an upper tier normal guy. Later in the game's life span, it'll just be those who actually play crucible.

0bvious is a pretty good guy. Tickles me when people think it's cool to run into me in-game; usually, it just means they have an extra weight (if I'm on their team) or some free kills (if I'm not).
