If this house ever gets finished, things will happen here. I know I've been saying that for years, but the house hasn't been finished for years. (Light at the end of the tunnel, though; finished the master closet floor yesterday, headed down to pick up master bathroom tile today. We're back in construction mode, and we MIGHT be done by spring. ;) )

If you need a helping hand Claude, I helped build my parents house. I do Tiling, insulation, sheetrock, woodworking, shingling, fireplaces... So yeah. I also have a good friend who was in construction :D

That's really a super-cool offer. And we may very well take you up on it. ;) (A bunch of the work is one-person-at-a-time type work, mostly because of space... but there are definitely tasks that would benefit from extra skilled labor. The trick's gonna be remembering your offer when they come up. ;) )

Heh, there was an incredibly impromptu one that happened at my place a year or so ago (it was came together a day or two before the actual occurrence). It was nothing like this. We had a friend (Up North) coming through town and decided to invite some other PDX locals and Claude since we knew him. Then we bought beer and it kind of looked like we planned it. If we ever decide to do the real thing, we'll put out invitations and stuff...

This does make me want to do that again though.
