Every time I see a "replica" type model of a destiny gun, all I can think is how incredibly poorly balanced those hand cannons are. They just look so damn barrel heavy. This Sunshot is, incredibly, worse than Thorn. It needs a shoulder stock that's balanced as a counterweight sooooo badly. Would help with that recoil, too.

Eric Newgard, of Impact Props, recently met with Jason Sussman, of Bungie, and it looks like one result of the encounter is that Jason commissioned a new gun model. (He posted this pic on Facebook, but it's only shared with friends of friends, so I'm reposting it here, with permission.)
