It took you three shots to take down that arcstrider… a shotgun can do it in one.

That it's very good. I dunno about "best" - that's a little subjective. But I have one that I've kept around since the game came out. The combination of high impact and quick charge time is extremely useful.

You can leave your enemies without a place to hide or enemy to target:

They're great for aggressive offense and defense:

Note the part where I lure a Golden Gun to waste their shots on my wall and Speedracer.

You can completely discombobulate Super'd enemies:

And you can control the entire map with a single Brick of ammo:

-Also, you can go for trickshots that will leave your enemies dumbfounded:

This is why Shock and Awe is the best fusion rifle
