Before all of that, though, Bungie is releasing a new video game. My history on the internet has its origins in 4chan's /v/, though for the last few years I've tried to make myself known around NeoGAF. Since I wasn't part of the old guard of the Halo community there, I often felt a bit left out and tossed in with all the new people that arrived for Halo 4. As events unfolded, it turned out I wasn't the biggest fan of Halo 4 and the community around it doesn't really feel right for me. So much anger, so much conflict. I'm tired of arguing with people and want to start over somewhere else in a way that allows me to be more positive and more constructive.

Heh, totally fair perspective to have. If it helps, you're one of the better ones, it's just a bad, young lot arriving at a tough time for OG HaloGAF's relationship with the series, so mistakes continue to be made by all side.
HGS is a bit of god send for OG HaloGAF, if I may be brutally honest.

Hope you've a good time here, DBO [and HBO] are a great lot.

Grim was doing something really terrible with a squirrel, and the pipes are corrupted now. Other than that, this is a pretty nice place to be. Beer and soda in the fridge, so you should be fine. The brown armchair's Levi's, and he gets pretty possessive, so stay out if you can.

Audio engineering; engine features and tool building parts of that specifically. So, not the electrical stuff, though I think I'm supposed to learn about hardware design as well. Interactive synthesis in games is also a focus. Composing music is pretty fun too, but given how few people are successful with that in the video game world, I don't see that as any kind of priority.
