I looked it up in some guides. Unfortunately none of the ones I looked up were updated for forsaken but it’s apparently to do the “armsdealer” nightfall strike with 5 minutes left. A reddit comment says you no longer have the time restriction but I’m still looking for corroboration on that. I’ve also seen some comments that it has to be a different strike or no specific one. Looking to confirm that too.

My understanding is that this is true. The specific time restriction is not there anymore.

How did this end up for you? Did you ever get the weapon? A few folks and I did some testing in gambit yesterday and the results were immediately definitive: you want to run a full fire team of Rat Kings in gambit, you just don’t know it yet.

And maybe bring a piece of armor with primary ammo finder as a perk.

I've got the Rat King, so I can still help out, I just never completed the quest on that character.

I think the last step may just be a nightfall, but it's been a really long time, so I'm not yours sure.

ok But don’t I need at least one someone with the quest or the weapon in their inventory?

I thought there was a special version of the strike but it doesn’t appear on my map. Does it only appear if I meet all the requirements with other rats? I’ve done the strike often enough in matchmaking that I would think that I would have randomly completed the step by now if that is all I had to do.

Looks like I ended up deleting the quest step to get it out of my Pursuits page, but I should still be able to help out if you want to make a run at it sometime.

I think it’s the final step. Completing a special strike? Kind accidentally fulfilled the others during fireteam events and stuff. The strike one is rather intentional versus the other steps.

I enjoyed this way more than I expected. Rats x 6 + Rally Barricade = Hilariously awesome firepower :p
