nah, this was a regular marketing type thing they send out. I thought I got it because I answered yes to some email thing when I did stuff on my profile on bungie.net sometime.

I thought increased infamy in gambit was only last weekend but I received a message today from bungie saying it was this weekend. Are they doing it again or is the email just really late?

I'm not 100% sure, because it wasn't actually double infamy last week (it was triple, double during the week)... but I haven't heard a single thing about a repeat, and checking their Twitter feed suggests that it's not actually happening.
