We'll see how it goes this weekend.

Finished the 2nd encounter (another fun one!), spent a lot of time on the 3rd figuring out one mechanic we got really stuck on. We finally got it, but still haven't managed to last long enough to see the ultimate goal.

So I got some info, and we aren’t missing anything. Team Spaghetti is strictly at the mercy of Team Ding. Apparently you need to bank 30 Motes to progress the encounter. The closest we got was 28. Also, if a vex sacrifices, it removes five motes from the bank.

I guess I would say if we don’t beat it Sunday, I’m off work on Monday, so I might try to LFG and slam through it then before the jacket cutoff.

I'm ok with my run on the 18th not being blind if that's what the folks signing up want. My problem last couple of seasons was that it tooks so long to do it blind that I missed out on runs that were completing it. I never even finished CoS.

I like blind, but the power level handicap is my problem. I like figuring out the mechanics, not just trying to stay alive. I think if we all were at or above level, we would have knocked out a lot more of the raid Saturday and still had a good time doing it blind.

I don't mind being a little under-leveled because it does add a layer to the puzzle--what role can I play without dying? That's what happened for the third room Saturday--it took a bit for me to figure out what was most effective and safe. Part of our issue last night was we switched up, and there were several runs where I wasn't sure who was doing what. I never got a feel for the hallways and where the second minotaur would spawn or how to kill him consistently and not die (maybe I should have gone to conflux first?). The focus of most of the conversation wasn't on adjusting our strategy with the confluxes (I guess because it had worked when Korny was in that role, so I take some responsibility). With more time I think we could have made adjustments and even with Korny's snarky comments in our ear.

I like running blind. I care more about that than the jacket. I'd prefer to finish this weekend but realize some can't make it and some can't commit. If we found six willing to try it blind, though, I'd be up for that. I'd also be up for waiting until next week.

Same. I care not for material things in this world or the next (Namaste), but I want to get it done ASAP so I can put it behind me in my trauma box.

Any idea how much it is after the discount is applied? I don't think I'll be able to buy it, but I'm with you on wanting to earn the ability to buy it :p

The good news is that my wife and kids will be out of town the weekend of the 18th. I fully plan to play unhealthy amounts of Destiny that weekend. I will go ahead and put a signup up for then. I'll keep myself blind and just see how the folks who sign up feel about a blind/non-blind/semi-blind run.

We bought a new building at work that were building out, and we have some contractors coming around late this afternoon that I have to be around for.

As far as going any more after reset, I was planning on spending the rest of the week leveling up and hitting it Friday night and through the weekend.
