Crossplay Fireteam building etiquette (reply)

If you've got an Xbox gamertag, I think you can send messages and even join parties with Xbox and PC players via the mobile app. That's one idea. Otherwise, you can join fireteams if there's room. if everyone there is in already a party, certainly someone will drop out to see what it up.

You can post to the clan in the destiny app, and although people currently playing might not notice, you'll probably get the attention of others who are interested.

Crossplay Fireteam building etiquette

Ran into a new problem yesterday while looking for a group to knock out a prophecy run for the weekly pinnacle drop.

In D1, I would just send PSN messages to any online friends asking if they were available. With crossplay now though, and most of the clan being on various different platforms, there doesn’t seem to be any way to message people, other than cold-calling via bungie invites.

Is there a better way?
