Why the half step? I genuinely don’t understand why they don’t just get rid of power level altogether at this point.

There’s nothing they could do to get me to play again, but reading a summary on reddit, it all sounds pretty good, honestly.

A large portion of my friend group don't play because it's a barrier to playing trials. Frankly, I haven't played for a couple months and hopped on to raid and thanks to the fact that the power cap didn't increase I was able to raid AND barely scrape by in Trials (still got to the lighthouse), which just wouldn't have been possible if the power climb kept going while I wasn't playing.

I saw that they said they're going to "experiment" with doing fireteam power in Trials and I just want to say...

Because for a lot of people, seeing those numbers go up is a huge motivator, and a big part of the game's enjoyment.

What is DCV? I only got to watch about 20 minutes over lunch and it was the same thing that's been said every single time. Fireteam builder this, make things accessible that, so much good content that people aren't playing, boop.
