I like it - but I wish you could independently select times from specific days of the week. For example, I wish I could select Fridays from 8:00 PM Eastern to 11:30 PM Eastern, Saturdays from 9:30 AM Eastern to 11:30 PM Eastern, and Sunday from 8:00 AM Eastern to 2:00 PM Eastern (or something like that).

Unless I'm missing something, the time you select applies to all days of the week you select.

Thanks! I meant to make a post to bring attention to it, but I got distracted. I have a fair bit of flexibility for times on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sunday, and I'm happy to negotiate specifics based on other people's availability.

When I started hosting lanfests, I was the father of 3 children, the oldest was 9. The youngest person to show up at the lanfest was 15. The jokes have always had a basis in reality. And although I'm offended by the universe for the indignities foisted upon me with age, I don't have any problem with people pointing out that I am, indeed, older than the many of the people I share interests with.

Previously they were at my house in Farmington Hills, but I moved so now they will most likely be at one of my friends' in either Novi or Livonia. It's always on Black Friday, although we did talk about doing a spring one this year.

Yup, and I've been in those kinds of groups before so I get it. Like you said, there isn't anything inherently wrong with it, but it does create a kind of barrier to entry that's difficult to overcome.

You (and Stephanie Plum) make up one pair of a want-to-raid sextet. I'm pretty sure Vorpal and Shovelface make up another pair. Finding the last two should be simple (I'm happy to be one)... it's finding the TIME that everyone can make it that is tough.
