In regards to being retrograde - Venus orbits in the right direction, but actually rotates opposite of all the other planetary bodies in our solar system.

The very slow rotation in retrograde has led to the theory that proto-Venus was impacted by another large body early in its life.

Curiously, Earth is also theorized to have been impacted by a large body early in its life - the result of which giving us our moon.

Looks like Mercury will be in retrograde starting this Saturday, not sure what the connection is though.

For those who don't know what retrograde means: (1) having or being motion in a direction contrary to that of the general motion of similar bodies and especially east to west among the stars (2) : having or being a direction of rotation or revolution that is clockwise as viewed from the north pole of the sky or a planet

I made special commemorate avatars for Bungie.net to celebrate the team's onstage performance. The email threads have been pretty merciless, too, and we had an image of our foursome up on a monitor in the kitchen all day.

They're taking it in stride, and their extremities appear to have suffered no permanent paralysis. Good times. :)

In this blog post they (though this has been mentioned before so I suppose its not exclusively "they") bring up a decent point; Why did they have all these people & Marty on the stage anyway? Unwritten Rule? Emotional Support? Shock from the light after being so long dark?
