I've only played the Alpha and the Beta. 2 days, 2 hours, 1 minute, 14 seconds of gameplay in the Beta.

This is going to be an expensive proposition if I need a new pad every 2 days or so :-)

Is it any wonder your thumbs were so sore? I can relate - my eyes are bleeding but I can't seem to stop playing.

I had same problem a couple of months ago, got in touch with Sony and sent it off. Was given a brand new replacement within two weeks. (I had a spare so i was fine with this.)
