PSN sessions only last 1 hour. That means 1 hour after you sign in, PSN friends will stop working. It also means if you're not signed in with PSN, PSN can't supply your friends list.

Sign in via PSN -> Can view both PSN and Xbox Live friends via Bungie.net (Live friends act like I'm on a 360, so a bunch of people that just say "Xbox One"

Sign in via Live -> Can only view Xbox Live friends. PSN friends list is blank.


This happening to anyone else?

Yeah I've had this issue since the beginning. I'm guessing there is some kind of limitation on automatic sign ins for PSN, but I could be wrong.
