You can set off your own trip mine for about a second after you throw it. Have done it before trying to set off my Super while hiding.

Your trip mine eventually explodes after a certain amount of time being stuck to something. This will inevitably occur when you are running past it for some important reason, and you'll die.

Enemies running past your trip mine can set it off while you are chasing them. You'll feel pretty stupid after this one, especially when they survive.

If you stick an enemy with a trip mine and it's pointing towards you, it will kill you as it explodes. Much more common in PvE with larger enemies.

Finally, enemies can shoot your trip mine as you are throwing it. This is why it's a bad idea to use trip mines while shooting at the Sisters. Also can happen while trying to activate a Super.

For the DBO mods/admins, is it possible to embed wordpress video here on the site? Just curious :)

Probably wouldn't be that hard to code up an iFrame for a bare .mp4 link (from Wordpress or anywhere) - but it would be far less user-friendly, because it would rely on the user knowing whether the video was embeddable or not. :)

I can definitely think about it, though.
