It's different every year and it's not like they have an active title out there right now. At the least, expect shenanigans.

It definitely varies every year, as Mr. Demag0gue stated. It's best to play Bungie games in remembrance, stay dialed into bungie.next and have your wallet open just in case...
Last year they sold "swag bags" in the bungie store that were collections of various swag from desks of Bungie employees and other stuff that was hidden away in stock rooms and old store items. 7 lucky bag recipients received a "golden ticket" which gave them each a special dose of space magic. Pow! Right in the kisser.

I'd almost forgotten. Still eager to see how that turns out.
Unfortunately, I'll be safely ensconced in the Smoky Mountains, away from all technology for a week starting the day before Bungie Day, so I'll just have to catch up on all the goodness after the fact. Womp-womp.

You can start with Paddy Day, which is 7 days before Bungie Day. We will celebrate me and the times and laughs I have had before. I always enjoy it.

With them having shown us some of Destiny now I would not at all be surprised if some (small amount of) information came out about Destiny on Bungie Day, but like stated before, you never really know. One thing is for sure: they always do something fun.
